    For normal / combination / oily skin, this is a luscious featherweight moisturizerNeeded a lightweight (read: featherweight) moisturizer to put on and not go greasy. This is it. Loved it so much that I bought 2 on vacation, only to have the TSA people hold back my bag. Not knowing if they sample/test cosmetics for security purposes (read: stick their fingers in), it was a wrench but I threw the possibly contaminated ones out and bought another.After shopping for them all over the place, some things to know:- the $10 - $15 price range is acceptable. More than that is too expensive.- there is no "seal" on this, only a plastic lid insert that sits on top of the cream that can easily be removed and replaced (why I replaced mine)- this cream works well all day and melts into skin, even after a hot shower, leaving a dewy feeling. It feels slightly tacky for the first few seconds, but that vanishes quickly to just leave the face feeling supple and lightly moisturized.5The price is nice but the product isn't worth it. I've used this quite a few times and every time I've broken out. Also, I would not recommend this if you already have oily skin. I have normal\acne prone skin and this leaves my face feeling so oily. It doesn't really sink into the skin, it just kinda sits on top and leaves an oily residue. I hate this under make-up as well. It makes me foundation break apart and gets weird (clumpy.) Honestly, if you're gonna pay a lot of money for something it should be skincare. I wouldn't really recommend this. 2Awesome oil free option!I have extremely sensitive skin like breakout every time I try something new sensitive and also an allergy to lotions with a scent. I also can t use anything that has oils per my dermatologist s recommendation due to acne creams I use. This stuff is great (I ve been using it for 2 1/2 yrs)... it didn t break me out even the first time I used it and the scent is light, if you you want to call it that! It s light but moisturizing! I use it in the AM and PM along with my Rx works great even in humidity!5Years to find the best, but it happened!Why did I have to wait so many years to find this product??? I have mature skin and it still clogs easily. I have read everything I can find on the best moisturizers for me and I have probably tried them all. Then a few months ago an article gave a list of 'the best' for clog prone skin. I saw I had not tried this , although I use other alba products. Honestly, I have been using it for 2 months and this is perfect for me. Hooray510/10 would recommend!This product was recommended to me by a fellow makeup enthusiast. I have have very oily skin, and have been looking for a facial moisturizer that helps keep my skin moisturized and soft without the excess oil. Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Aloe & Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer provides just that!First, I take off my makeup and use an oil-free face wash to clean my face. Then, with a towel, I pat my face and neck dry, and use an oil-free toner all over my face. Finally, with a fingertip, I dab just a small amount of Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Aloe & Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer onto my face and neck and rub it in. This moisturizer is so light and sets very quickly. The product says not to use near your eyes, but it's so light and lacks any pungeant smells, that I use it over my entire face, including my eyelids!When I wake up, after using this product before bed, my skin is baby soft and radiant. There is no left over greasy residue that lots of moisturizers leave behind. The product also states that it wears well under makeup, and boy does it. 10/10 would recommend to others interested in an oil-free moisturizer.5Almost Doesn't CountI really wanted to love this product. I was looking for a moisturizer with more natural ingredients, and after looking at dozens of product, this one seemed promising. But when I opened the package, I literally laughed out loud at the thought of putting this on my face. There is SO much fragrance in this product - It would be too much in a body lotion; in a face lotion, it is ridiculous. It's not even a nice fragrance. It's a cheap, artificial floral scent. You might as well spray yourself in the face with dollar-store perfume. It made my face itch just thinking about it. Unfortunately it's non-returnable, so in order to make myself feel like I hadn't completely wasted my money, I tried it on my arms (on a day when no one would smell me). The ironic thing is, this might have been the perfect moisturizer if it wasn't for the scent! It absorbed quickly, and made my skin feel soft and smooth without residue. Unfortunately, almost doesn't count. If the idiots who developed this product ever pull their heads out of you-know-where and make an unscented version, I might give it another chance!1No Break-outs! Great Year-Round! LOVE IT!I'm sad that I'm not seeing this in-store as often, but hey-- Amazon never fails me! I LOVE this moisturizer. FINALLY an oil-free product that is ACTUALLY oil-free and truly breakout-free!! I love this stuff. I pray every night, that it doesn't disappear!5Not greasey on my sensitive combo skinThis is the only moisturizer I can use. I have combination skin, so it's both oily and dry. I like this product because it dies not make my face feel oily or greasy. I've tried so many moisturizers and all of them have made me really uncomfortable from how greasy they made my face feel. This one is wet for about 5-10 minutes after applying and then dries. Once it's dry my face feels really soft and smooth. And I can look at my fingers and not se oil on them. The smell isn't strong nor is it unpleasant.4Alba Botanica Hawaiian Aloe & Green Tea Face CreamThis is the 1st time I've bought & used this product & I have to say, I'm very pleased with it. The cream feels great on the skin, is light & not greasy at all. I'm sure I'll be purchasing it again. Great product! :)5NOT FOR OILY SKINIf you truly have oily skin (not mixed, just plain oily skin) this is not the right product. Don't understand all the great reviews and purchased it based on that but having tried it for almost 2 months now, very sad it didn't do anything. The fragrance is overwhelming and not typical of a natural base product or near resembling of aloe and/or green tea. The consistency is very light but a few minutes after applied it becomes very shiny - the kind of shine you don't want ever. Went over my return date so another potential 'great product' that ends up in the trash bin.1Amazing moisturizer with a fantastic price!!So the Earth Science moisturizer that I used for years changed its formula and I not only hated the new smell, but it made my face break out! My skin around my nose/mouth is pretty sensitive, so I went on a search for a new night cream (I use sunscreen during the day). Tried many different cruelty free products, but nothing did the trick like this one! I have used other Alba products before with great results too!I love that it goes on so lightly but yet next day if I take a shower before I put on my sunscreen, I can still feel it on my skin.My forehead was starting to dry out as I was trying different night creams, then after a little bit with this, it is nice and soft again.The other thing I really like about this product, is that in a pinch, you can buy it at many stores. Sure it is more expensive than on Amazon, but if you forget to order it online or pack it, you have a good chance of finding it.5Hello clear skin! This is my holy grail of face lotions. Are you on the fence about buying this?Hop over the damn side into smooth acne free skin. This does not clog your pores with nasty oil. I had no idea my moisturizer was making my skin worse. I mean WTF!?This stuff is absolutely fabulous. My only minor complaint is the packaging. If you throw this bad boy in your bag it will leak!!!This lotion is more the consistency of honey than body butter. It will get all over your bag so keep this upright at all times.5One of the Best I've usedI first discovered this about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. It's so incredibly lightweight yet highly moisturizing. I have very oily skin and this is perfect. I love trying new products so after a while I moved onto to something else, but never forgot about this. Recently, I needed to cut some of my spending, and immediately bought this when I found I could get it for less than $10 here on Amazon. High quality product without a ridiculous pricetag. The ingredients are exemplary for the price. In fact, anyone familiar with Korean skincare have undoubtedly heard of cica (Centella Asiatica), which is also known as gotu kola, one of the main Ingredients in this! I was pleasantly surprised when I found that out. So, needless to say, it's a very nourishing moisturizer and great for red, irritated, Inflamed, and sensitive skin. But that's just my two cents. Seller takes old container and fills it with junk!!! So disappointed.1My Holy Grail Everyday MoisturizerThis has randomly become my holy grail product. I purchased it from a health food store a couple of years ago when I was in a hurry (and tbh it was on sale) and I ve been using it ever since. I have adult hormonal acne and am in my late 20 s, so trying to address the issues of both acne and dry/dull skin can be hard but this lotion feels both light and incredibly moisturizing. I use it both at night and under makeup in the morning and whenever I run out and try to get by using something else, I regret it. Heavier night creams exacerbate my acne but this is perfect (right after I first started using it, a friend asked me why my skin was glowing !!) so definitely try it out.5Doesn t cause more breakouts and hydrates my skin all day!I decided to hold off writing this review for a month to give my skin a chance to adjust to the product. My skin is acne prone and many moisturizers that are noncomedogenic still cause me to break out. However I desperately needed to find a moisturizer that wouldn t break me out because my skin gets dry and flaky from using salicylic acid face wash.This is the first moisturizer of the many I have tried that doesn t cause more acne, effectively moisturizers my skin, and has actually stopped the peeling and flaking that has plagued my skin since puberty. I can t speak for how it will react with other people s skin, but it has worked wonders for mine!5
