Great for acne! This item was securely packaged and arrived promptly. I bought these tea tree oil wipes to help with adult acne that I have been suffering from for the past few months. I found the wipes to really help with acne especially if you put it on a problem area early. If I feel or see a pimple coming on I immediately wipe the area with a tea tree wipe and it typically does not get any larger or worse. This item has prevented many breakouts from occurring, I will definitely buy from this seller again and will continue to purchase these face wipes. 5Successful at preventing BlephartisI have Blepartis in my eyes and didn't want to use an antibiotic in my eyes. I heard Tea Tree Oil is a natural anti-bacterial product. Since using this, I haven't yet had a problem; so it seems to be working well. I use it to remove eye makeup and as an astringent for my face. It seems gentle on my sensitive skin and closes pores so my skin seems smoother.5Really clean the dirt.Very nice cleansing pads. They really get the dirt out of your pores. They have a strong Teatree oil scent which for me is a good thing. Very happy with the product. I added a before and after. Pad on the left unused. Pad on the right after.5saves me from lady bits itch!!so yes, i use these to cleans my face after i splash it with water. but they have really saved me from the other itchy parts of my body. i had an allergic reaction to something and had a super itchy rash on my chest and no lotion or ointment stopped me from itching much except hydrogen peroxide. this helps too. but what i love it the most for, and i'm probably not supposed to use it for this, but it really helps with thrush or PH changes, or for whatever reason i'm itchy in my lady bits....it burns for a bit and then no longer itches, just feels the right amount of moist and clean. nothing i have tried in the past has really helped so instantly with my lady bits itch. so...yay!!!5Quality Control Issue...Quality Control Issues... I have purchased this before and loved the results. The cleaning, scent, and way skin felt afterwards. My most recently delivered batch is not the same. All the pads are pretty much dried out despite the package being sealed very well, both under the lid and around the container itself.2These are great - I think they're the same as the trader joe's tea tree cleansing padsTrader Joe's often buys a brand name with rights to put their own label on the product. I'm pretty sure that these are the exact same pads as the trader joes tea tree oil cleansing pads. Both are great, but for me, this branded version is easier to find around at different places as well as easy ordering here on Amazon. Plus (and this is corny I know) I like the look of the label better than the TJ's version.My husband uses these daily after work or after sweaty exertion as they make your face feel fresher and decrease frequency of pimples. My teen daughter uses them too and also likes how they make her face feel fresh and clean but they aren't working as well on her teenage hormone laden skin to control pimples. I use them here and there but I have a tendency for dry skin, so I don't have quite the need as they do.If you have oily-normal skin I think you'll use these more and really like them. If you're skin is dry-ish then you'll still like them for the occasional facial cleaning but likely won't use them as often.5I'm a repeat buyer. What I love the most about this is just as another reviewer stated... no chemicals. This works better than Oxypad and Stridex combined without the harshness and drying of the skin. Even recently I purchased the green container Stridex Sensitive Skin w/Aloe version that was alcohol free just to be sure. It broke my face out and was not effective at removing any dirt.These pads on the other hand even removes dirt after I go over my face with an astringent and cotton pad. Yes, it's that effective! See my pics for yourself. I included a pic of a pad just after I used it. After I already washed and cleansed my face, I used an astringent on it, then used the pad. All of that dirt was still left behind.Yes the tea tree oil smell is strong at first. But it goes away after a few minutes and leaves your face smelling and feeling fresh. It is not necessary to use lots of force with these pads. Just use gentle strokes against the skin while you go over the entire face and neck area. That does the job just fine.5Great for after waxing/shaving!I've always had horrible issues with razor burn/shave bumps/ingrown hairs after shaving or waxing, especially bikini zone. I do all of the recommended stuff like exfoliating before and after, cold packs, and using salicylic acid products but nothing really helped much. These wipes makes a huge difference!! She has the typical teenage skin where pimple breakouts can range from mild to wildly inflamed clusters of pimples. She's used stridex face pads along with several other similar products with little-to-no improvements.These pads work extremely well. For her, it takes roughly 2-3 days (applying twice a day) to see the difference. It starts by making the redness disappear and then starts to smooth the skin back out again.Granted, this stuff is a bit pricey, but if you want results, forget the commercially available face pads and give this a try. As long as this product is produced, I will continue to purchase it.5Wanted a wipe where I didn't need to rinse faceMaybe my fault, but when reading the description, it seemed I could use this as a wipe, like a makeup wipe that's tossed out after. What sold me from reading the product description was it can be used numerous times throughout the day. What made me give 2 stars is 1. The jar directions read to use:...smooth pad over face and rinse. Having to rinse my face after using a pad defeats my purpose in not wanting to rinse. 2. Product can't be returned. As I would really like to use them daily, I wish they were more affordable. 4and tea tree oil is pretty awesome in general I shower in the morning, and I bought these to give myself a quick clean in the evening to try and reduce acne breakouts on my shoulders and around my waist. You can definitely see that they soak up oil well, and tea tree oil is pretty awesome in general. Only problem is that the pads are real thin and dry out FAST. Even for your face, I'd think one pad would barely make it unless you were just doing a very brief once-over. 4Will not buy againI was searching for a product with tree tea oil due to the benefits I have read about and how it helps blemishes and I was getting an occasional break out. I started using it as part of my night time face cleaning routine and within a week of using it I had more break outs all over my face then I ever have as an adult. I typically use these twice a day- morning and night and it always finds some dirt to clear away. I am extremely acne prone and these have helped clear up my face dramatically, including cystic acne. The smell of these is enjoyable (typical tea tree oil smell). Overall, this is a great product and definitely worth it- 50 per container! This shipped quickly and I will definitely purchase again.5Works for My Teens...Worth a TryI have several teens struggling with acne.It's been a long road of finding something to help the acne without causing other skin issues. We have tried products with the active ingredient of benzyl peroxide and they worked BUT they left bleach stains on towels, clothing and bedding and caused dryness and irritation. Then we tried products with salicylic acid. Those products didn't do anything for my teens. So several months ago we switched to products containing tea tree oil specifically the Desert Essence face wash and cleansing pads. The tea tree oil IS making a difference. Yes the smell is quite strong. The smell dissipates after a couple of minutes. It has reduced the redness and inflammation of the acne and also the amount of acne. My family hasn't had any irritation from these products. It did take a couple of months to see the best results. But some improvement was noticed in just a couple of weeks. Not a miracle worker of course but it's the best product we've tried so far. We will definitely keep using these products.5Finally! A wipe that actually does something...Please Note; I do not have sensitive skin and I'm a combination/oily skin type.I highly suggest if ou yhave sensitive skin, don't use the pads to start. Use your own cotton ball or soft pad, soak up the liquid by pressing it against the stack of pads in the container, then try it on your skin. I would hate for you to toss this away when it was the pads that are causing you problems not all of the wonderful benefits of the ingredients. The pads can be a little scratchy which is great for me for exfoliation but I'm sure not for everyone. There is ONE side that is soft but I can not figure out which until it's on my skin.Anyway for my skin this is how this product performs...This seems like a very powerful product, the smell is very strong at first as well BUT they do a great job.After trying I would say at least 30 different face wipes or pads in the past I've never found one that works like this.When I am done washing my face or if I have no makeup on and I just want to clean up before I go to bed, I use it.If it's the middle of the day and I've gotten all sweaty and want to quickly clean and treat my face, I use it.It's also good with taking the heavier amount of my makeup off before I go washing my face and I use it after cleansing in certain areas were I have acne or oil issues..Shortly after applying the strong smell dissipates and my face feels clean and cool. Even with out makeup you can see the dirt it's taken off of your face on the pad..The pads seem to have two sides. One is a side that exfoliates, which I like a lot.I do wish I could find just the liquid so it would be easier to store in my bag, my bag of skincare products I mean. It's worth hauling round this container separately though. It's just that good for me.Keep an eye out in your stores becuase after I ordered this on Amazon, then I ended up finding it inmy grocery store that carries all natural products at a cheaper price. Not much but a little. So I grabbed it up becuase I don't want to be caught not having a back up of this stuff. I hope they never stop making it.5it's nothing too bad. My skin doesn't get irritated at all For almost 14$ I'd say this is a steal! :DI don't ever have the patience for washing my skin twice a day, so instead I use these when I'm getting oily. While it does dry my skin a tiny bit, it's nothing too bad. My skin doesn't get irritated at all, nor does it flake like when I use a powerful cleanser. My only complaint is that the smell isn't too good and it stings the eyes a little bit. Otherwise, I'd totally recommend. 5
