Toxic Ordered a Schick Quattro - lets see how it is. Migrating off of these toxic razors. 1Great value, great supplement to electric razor for hard-to-shave neck hairs I have a tough beard and sensitive skin. I use an electric razor that does a great job, EXCEPT I occasionally have hairs below my jaw line, on my neck, that I miss and cannot see because of my vision. I use these razors to go over my neck below the jaw line to ensure that all hairs are removed. The razor works GREAT, better than expected. And, I have been using the same one of these razors now for at least four weeks, without the need to move on to the next one. The blade must be of very high quality to not dull after 30-35 uses. I'm impressed, and I recommend these HIGHLY. 5Gillette, the razor for toxic males The best a toxic male can get. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of Bic razors. I will not be buying any more products from P&G because apparently being a man is toxic according to their latest ad campaign. 1Easy rinse. Wish they were more eco-friendly. I have been using these razors for years. I don't shave that frequently. So my beard is usually pretty long. The way this razor is designed. It is very easy to rinse the hair out of the blades. You can see the spaces between the three blades. The water flushes through very easily. I rarely have to do the tap tap tap on the sink. To get the hair out. I have tried the replaceable Blades of the same kind. They also work very well. However, sometimes when I do the tap tap tap. The blade falls off the razor. The disposable ones hold up better. Not sure how they could correct this problem? I wish they would though. It would be more eco-friendly. As when the blades are used I could just throw away the blade. And not the whole razor. Biodegradable blades would probably not be that practical. However a biodegradable handle would be more Earth friendly . Again, these blades work great! I just feel a bit bad about filling the landfills with extra plastic. 5Boycott for life -- Will never buy from Gillette again. I'm voting with my money. 1Nearly useless - not sharp, inefficient angle These were just simply awful - they barely shaved at all, and the portions they did shave were not smooth. It's like the blades weren't spaced or angled correctly....really weird. These must be a much lower quality than what you find in stores. Do not buy - waste of money. 1Great Product - Shallow Handle-to-Blade Angle should be standard My beard hair and thickness is medium, I would say. I've used many disposable shavers over the years...... from BiCs (rhymes with "nicks" for a reason) cheap-o 1 blade shaver... to many other steep-angle 2-blade disposables (even Gilette's other types).But, this Gilette Mach3 Sensitive 3-blade is my favorite.What sets this apart - from even the rest of the Gillette line - is the shallow angle of the blade due to the handle.- this Mach 3 sensitive blade has maybe a 30 degree "resting" angle to the handle.- other Mach 3 variants (placed in different handles) have about a 45 degree or more ( steeper ) angleThis shallow angle of the blades and the handle I think makes the best design for medium beards like mine. Gillette might not even be aware of this. They put so much R&D into blade angle, blade holders and metal composition and wear, the handle used is perhaps an afterthought.Well, it seems like this afterthought handle with the Mach 3 blade shaves me the best and nicks the least...This particular model isn't the most popular, so it's hard to find in department stores like Target or Walmart - which tend to sell the 2-blade Gillette (steep angle handle) and also the 3-bladed steeper angle Gillette. 5Open Packaging I do not like to leave a bad review or comment, but due to the nature of the item it is quite unpleasant (and scary) to receive it open, buying something new to have to disinfect it with alcohol is not really the goal of any buyer. 1Toxic I now use the Bic Hybrid 4 Advance For Men recommended by Wirecutter 1Razor burn and cuts I ve honestly never used a disposable razor. I ve used Gillette replaceable blades in the past but normally shave with a safety razor.I thought these would be a good cheap alternative to expensive Gillette blades but boy was I wrong.In the first use I m bleeding and have razor burn. 1
