The trial/sample I purchased originally was nice to use before I bought the product. With having sensitive skin, and unstable skin this product is highly recommended. Good coverage, especially with someone with Melasma, skin condition such as myself. Liquid base products have made my skin oily and cake like feel and look. Her products does not react that way. Super happy with the recommendation from my estatican. 5I had clogged pores with small pimples at the end ...I had clogged pores with small pimples at the end of the day. I tried to be sure before ordering that it had no oil in it and it didn't seem to but clearly it is not non-comedogenic ..........after applying it and using the spray to set it, my face felt gummy all day which I thought surprising since it is a powder. I had hoped for an SPF powder to replace a cream. I had it on for about 6 hours and after washing my face in the evening I had small whiteheads which are the very thing I am trying to avoid. I sent it back which is the very reason I ALWAYS order using Prime, Nordstroms's or Bloomingdale's all of whom stand behind the customer and will give you your money back.1I was expecting something better. The color golden glow was very light I normally use Bare Minerals Medium Tan, but decided to give this a try. For almost double the price, I was expecting something better. The color golden glow was very light. I thought it would be a little more tan...but this was definitely not the case. I'm very disappointed, plus applying once in the morning does not help because by end of day, I still see some oiliness in my t-zone and my skin is not extremely oily. For half the price, I'll stick with Bare Minerals which gave me much better coverage and lasted longer throughout the day. 3Great foundation if you have normal/oily skinGreat foundation if you have normal/oily skin. It great quality and goes on easily. My aesthitician (sp) recommended this product and I can say it has truly been wonderful. I use this and sometimes the compact to keep it switched up a bit. The product is good for your skin and provides great coverage. It goes on very mat but when your natural skin oils it looks great. I highly recommend this product.5Great coverage.A friend of mine is an esthetician and I told her I wasn t happy with how dry my skin felt with IT cc cream so she suggested Jane Airedale. You really don't need to re apply it too often. I can go the whole day without re applying it but I usually do at least once a day. It lasts forever. I use it every day yet one container can last me a year. Its so good to your skin and doesn't cause any irritation. Its great coverage and a really high quality natural product. It doesn't have talc in it which irritates and dries out my skin like bare minerals. This price was amazing too. I thought it was too good to be true as it usually sells for double. I had the color matched at a store first before I bought it on line. Seriously amazing. I haven't used another powder since I started using this. You can use it alone for light coverage or I usually put a tinted moisturizer underneath.5The best mineral foundationMany "mineral" foundations actually have organic powders in them such as rice or corn cob powder. On some people they look great. On my rosacea, the organic ingredients feed the micro bugs in the pores that cause irritation and make it worse. Jane Iredale's mineral foundation is just that, minerals, no organics, so no irritation. It doesn't have a noticeable shimmer. Usually I apply it with a clean cotton ball, then finish with the flat end foundation brush to remove excess. The color in the container may look dark, while on, it's just right. As the skin gets oily through the day, I blot, and rarely reapply.5NiceThis is very nice but Clinique Almost Powder Makeup in Fair is better for me in both color and smoothness (lack of dryness). Especially need a light color with a little pink in it for my fair skin with rosy undertones. This had a little less color than I needed but it may work for some people. You would probably need a moisturizer under it in the Winter. (maybe Clinique Moisture Surge) I also like to spray a little Eve Hansen Rose Water under the Clinique Almost Powder, year round. Let it dry them apply the foundation with a fluffy Kabuki Brush. Powder Foundation will change your life, once you get used to it and figure out how to use it. It's easy, natural looking and quick2Pretty disappointed. I wasted $40This is the only time I've ever been frustrated with anything I've ordered from Amazon. I've been purchasing this exact foundation from jane ire dale for 4 years consistently. I opened up the package, opened the box the foundation it came in, popped off the lid and went to use the makeup (by tapping the powder into the lid) and thIe entire inner sifter lid just came off, as it was about 2 sizes too small. This made ALL of the foundation powder go everywhere. It's definitely defective, I've never had that happen with any of my jane products and if anything that inner lid is always so tight you can't even get it off! Pretty disappointed. I wasted $40.2Fake Jane iredale makeup!I am a certified Jane Iredale makeup artist, and this isn't Jane Iredale foundation. It is in the correct packaging but the foundation has been switched out. I ordered this hoping to find my favorite and the only makeup that doesn't irritate my skin at a discounted price, however when I received my order I put it on and the first thing I noticed was the scent. Jane makeup does have a smell, as all makeup does, but it has no fragrance and this most definitely had fragrance, I could also smell the talc (it has a very distinct smell and if you know it, you can spot it in any makeup) which Jane NEVER puts in their products. My face then proceeded to rash and itch and I knew for sure something was up. I later bought an amazing base from an accredited Jane Iredale vendor and compared the two, there is a noticeable difference in color, texture, and smell. This is not the real deal, if you purchase this you are undoubtedly getting scammed by fake Jane Iredale, normally I wouldn't believe a review like this, but know that I am certified with jane and am a master aesthatician, I know my makeup and skin care. This may be cheaper, but that's because it isn't the real deal.1Would not select anything else.Very natural on face. Does not "cake" up and can wear it on hot days without worrying about it getting into pores and blocking them up. I typically apply it once in the morning and good for the day. It is expensive but lasts such a long time it is well worth it. I believe I would have to purchase at least two powers of another brand for one Jane Iredale Loose Mineral Powder. Strongly recommend it.5Wrong Product with Bogus LabellingNot sure if this stuff was even genuine. I ordered Jane Iredale Warm Sienna powder and received a Bare Minerals container with a Jane Iredale label on the bottom.1
