    L'oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour, Nutmet is dark brown.Color is dark brown.. Not anything like the color swatch suggestion.I asked a question on Amazon and this color was recommended as closest to NATURAL. I noted that I am very fair, with green eyes and strawberry blond hair so I wanted a lighter, natural shade. I think the inconsistency of color is throwing everyone off.I tried Terra Cotta, dark red brick.Nutmet (or Nutmeg) is darker and browner. I look like a vampire.The only color that has worked for me is APRICOT. Since these are discontinued, I bought 4 of the APRICOT shade. It's a Peachy tone.2Great Lipstick!Very smooth and easy transit. Shipped very fast, an received within one week.Packaging: The product is sealed with it's original packaging like you would see in stores. It's 100% brand new.Product: The stain is probably one of the most long lasting drugstore lip product I know and used. I put this on 10:50pm and lasted through late dinner til 1:30pm. I want to say, this will last up to 3-4 hours without touch up. The color is great. Thistle is a mauvy pink color.It had a very very slight hardly noticeable frost to it.The 2nd application which is the balm is very hydrating and condition. The stain is drying to the lips but the balm will aid. Perfect duo.Pros: It lasted, it worked, the color is great, my lips didnt get too dry. And overall looked great! An 8/10 rating.Cons: The color can be deceiving. Color on the packaging or the website does not 100% match the color of the lipstick when applied. It can be unexpected for some shades, so do some swatches research online.5So very glad Amazon carries these jncredible lipcolour!Loved, loved this product! It's a true wonder for me why manufacturers discontinue products or colors that was so popular. I mean, you couldn't find these easily when it was still readily available. They always ran out of stock, anywhere I went. So, when it comes back in stock I would always purchase several of them, afraid they'll ran out again. Sadly, this color together with one of my faves,( Azalea) has been completely discontinued. So yeah, I'm grateful Amazon has them all the time. I shudder at the thought when one day Amazon would say...sorry, there's No More! Yikes, I think I'll be bawling and throwing a fit!5Great product, different color.I've used L'Oreal Infallible color 500 Thistle for years. It's my favorite and I get lots of compliments on it. I've always gotten it through Drugstore.com, however, they no longer carry it. I found it here at Amazon and ordered it. When it arrived it was obvious on first glance that this was not the 500 Thistle color I've always gotten. It is labeled as 500 Thistle on the product and it even has the same bar code sticker but it is just not the same color. Please see the picture I've posted: The one on the left is the product I received from Amazon. The one on the right is the original 500 Thistle color I've always used. I'm keeping it because it isn't worth the effort of sending back. Perhaps I'll find an opportunity to wear it in the future. I guess there is the chance that L'Oreal changed the shade, of that I'm not aware. Color aside, the product is a great product that I highly recommend.4There are two colors with the same number!I love this infallible line of lip color, but purchasing it online is a little risky. I ordered the 120 Geranium as it is no longer available in the stores. I want all of you purchasing this lip color to know something about this product line. Apparently there are two shades of each color. One is a matte and one is sparkly and a lighter and brighter tone. The latter is the one I received. I am okay with it because it is very high quality and it is still a compatible color, but it is not the one I was hoping to get. I experienced this about a year ago when I purchased the 500 only to find that there are actually 2 ea 500's with the same name and even the same SKU#. As with the Geranium, one is lighter, brighter and sparkly and one is a matte color. The only identifier that I can see is the way the case looks. I am going to take a picture of the 2 cases for your reference. I hope this will help another person considering a purchase sight unseen online.4Like color disslike frosted lookI like this line of lipstick but I like many of the reviewers must have another lipstick from the earlier version of this line. While I like the color it is actually more of a frosted pale pink. I don't like the frosted sparkle look. I wish this was part of the description and the swatch does not look shimmery. While my older lipstick lasts all day with just fading of color this one stays on but looks like the color separates more because of the shimmer.3The Lipstick that LastsI dislike that L'oreal discontinued having this lipstick be available through stores and has to be searched by on the Internet. What I like or LOVE is that I can put this creamy lipstick on in the morning, enjoy my coffee and lunch without worrying about having to check my lip color.5All Positives for L OrealOrdered this and other shades because i bought a couple years ago and they are still working and stay on so well. Packaged so they dont dry up either! Case can be used as makeshift mirror for application also!5Who knew?I've worn L'oreal Garnet color for years and when this arrived, even though the packaging name and product number showed 750 Garnet, the color tube and lipstick were bright pink. Before using it, I called L'oreal and when I finally got to product service, the recording stated they weren't taking calls. So I said what the heck, I'll try this color anyway. Who knew I liked bright pink? It's a happy accident, but I'm still baffled as to how the packaging said one thing and the color was another...I think (not completely certain) that this was an Add On. And recently I discovered that another Add On (a faceted crystal) is a second because the hole for hanging the string was poorly drilled and cracked. And some Add On Teddy Bears I ordered were strangely packaged, although that didn't matter since I was repackaging them anyway. So perhaps Add Ons themselves are generally seconds or quality control rejects and when purchasing them, it's a buyer beware situation.But it's okay this time, I still like my bright pink lipstick!3It goes on like a dreamI was so upset when L'Oreal discontinued this line. It goes on like a dream, and stays on ALL day, through meals and kisses. The colours in this line are also fantastic. But more than just the lipstick, the compact size, makes this the perfect lipstick to take in an evening bag. I personally love this particular colour, Auburn, it is the perfect Winter colour. Cannot recommend this product enough.5Cracks and flakes off. Bummer city: this lip stick flakes something awful. It does not last even one hour without starting to chip, flake off! I totally followed the directions to allow lip stick to dry for 2 minutes before applying the lip balm. Maybe the pigment particular to my skin won't hold the stain. I am truly disappointed. Can't party with infallible. My color begins cracking off, lip balm notwithstanding, & I look like one of the Walking Dead. Lip ink absolutely stays on. Going back to Lip Ink to try new colors. 2Truly long lasting and great color I am thrilled with this long lasting lip color. I only need to apply it once in the morning and I'm good for the day, although I may apply the glossy overcoat several times if my lips start to seem dry. The color, #730, is perfect for me. I like it so well I don't want to run out in the near future and so bought 20 tubes. 5Best Lipstick Ever!The L'Oreal line of these Infallible lipsticks is just great. With most lipsticks, your lips have color and shine for an hour or two and you have to touch up. I have put this brand of lipstick on at 7:00 in the morning and by 3:00 you can still see shades of it - even after eating lunch! With no touch ups all day either - although the shiny silver container it comes in serves as a mini-mirror if you need to touch up quickly. It truly is the best lipstick I've ever used and I have it in 4 favorite shades. This review is under the Teaberry one, which I like because it is a kicky fun pink.Applying this product is a two part process. First, your lips must be clean and dry. Apply the colored stain with the lip gloss applicator brush to your lips. Don't be gloopy - treat it a bit like nail polish, brush it on once and don't go over it again. If it feels too thick, quickly use a tissue to lightly blot any excess, but again, just one quick blot. Once the color has completely dried (and you really do have to wait for it to dry), apply the clear twist-up chapstick-like sealer which adds shine and moisture to your lips. It might take you a few times before you get it right, but for a lipcolor like this one that lasts ALLLLL day long, it is totally worth it!BUY THIS LIPSTICK! You won't be let down..5Good productIt came 2 days earlier than expected, so I think that was great.Not for the product, I got the color Crimson and it's such a pretty color!!!! Loving this red.It stays on for pretty long and it doesn't get anywhere. Totally kiss proof! It also it super smooth and easy to apply on, but it has kind of a sticky texture right after putting on, but it goes away after applying the coating.But the thing is that after a while it becomes very dry, and some residue starts occurring, and sometimes it peels off so I gave it 4 stars.It's a really good product for its price though.4I am in love!I purchased the shade 'Lily', which is a light neutral pink with a slight hint of frost. I received this yesterday-and as you must do with all "stay put" glosses and lipsticks, I made sure my lips were well exfoliated-and put it on right away. It spreads and covers well, but is very tacky during the one-minute 'drying" time. After putting on the clear balm (which is pleasant tasting, and smells sweet), I could rub my lips together. The color looks great on me. I have fair/light medium olive skin. I put this on at 6:15 p.m. last night. It is now 3:36 p.m. the next day. I not only have brushed my teeth 3 times, but have showered, put a face mask on, drank a few cups of coffee, kissed my kids several times, and vaped non-stop...but I also slept for nine hours with it on. Guess what? it's no joke that you have to use and oil-based cleanser to remove it. It's still on my lips with only the slightest bit of wear-off right where one one place a cigarette if they smoked. The only thing I have to say is that the top coat does need to be re-applied more than once so that your lips don't feel dry and stay somewhat glossy. For this reason alone, the top coat will run out LONG before the lipstick itself. This needs to be addressed by either making that stick much wider, by providing two. Maybe even sold separately at a cheaper price point. I will continue to buy this, and seriously recommend it.5
