it looked like it provided a flawless finishBefore buying, I decided to watch a video review on Youtube. On the reviewer, it looked like it provided a flawless finish. On me, not so much. It provides basic coverage, but not enough to cover blemishes. Also, I don't like the sponge from where you apply the foundation. It seems like it will run out quickly. I also don't care for the applicator sponge. When I go to blend the foundation, I feel like it is just wiping it off instead.2Excellent, Brand New Condition!!!EXCELLENT! This foundation arrived in brand new condition. The containers were unopened and all the seals were still in place. The makeup sponges were never used. This seller is great!!!This was my favorite, holy grail foundation and when Maybelline discontinued it, I was crushed. So I started looking on Amazon to see if I could find a few containers from a reputable seller that would still be unopened. There are a lot of bad reviews out there for this foundation due to bad sellers reselling old and used product. But this was awesome! I might even buy a few more so that I can have enough for a year until I can find a good substitute or Maybelline brings back this foundation 5Like the application, but will keep looking for a new shadeI like cushion foundations but find that they dry out VERY quickly (physicians formula, for example). This one is packed with product! In fact, the cushion is almost too wet! The feel like this applies very nicely & gives a smooth, natural finish but the shade (20 Classic Ivory) was a bit too orange-y on my ivory skin & I have to blend with lighter products to make it wearable. This product definitely has promise, I just have to find the right shade for me.4New favorite foundationI was looking for a new foundation that would hide my skin's texture that I seem to be acquiring as I get older. I'm 42, and though I don't notice these fine dryness lines without foundation, they are extremely noticeable with foundation, no matter what primer I use or how much I moisturize.I googled, and I YouTubed, all the beauty gurus are like 20 something and usually don't have this problem.I started searching random terms in Amazon, luminous foundation, wrinkle reducer foundation, blur foundation. I came across this. I found a YouTube video of a woman about my age using it and she seemed to like it, so I ordered it.I love it! It's great coverage for some skin discoloration (thank you four pregnancies), and while it doesn't completely hide those little texture problems on my forehead, it's the best thing I have found that doesn't require me to pay with my first born for not highlighting them. It also doesn't look cakey, which is something I have had a problem with with other full coverage foundations. I've found that for me, this looks better without a primer, though sometimes, if my pores on my nose are like hey! Here we are! I do use NYX's pore filler before I apply foundation. I apply with a wet beauty blender, I haven't tried the little pad that came with this. I figure if what I am using works, why mess with the application.Until they find the actual working fountain of youth, I will probably stay with this foundation.5Easy to use - Convenient to carry This makeup is light and not heavy. I saw an old review on You Tube on this foundation and began to dig up some more. Most all of the videos were overall positive so I decided to give it a try. I enjoy how it looks on my skin, but the color is not a great match. I purchased the lightest shade (porcelain) and it pulls a little orange but nothing too bad. I usually buy Maybelline's Dream Satin foundation and it's a good match. This line seems like it does well since it is still being made so I wish they would come out with more shades for everyone. It blends out super easy and it leaves a very dewy finish.4Bad Design, not worth it The color was lighter than expected. The packaging and application design is ill thought. It comes with a little puff pad as though you would apply it as a powder which only allows for light coverage which wouldn't even be that bad if it were the right color at least. But this design makes it hard to apply in any of the contours of the face that can't go against a perfectly flat surface. And it would even be marginally okay if the formula was great and I could apply it with a brush or a sponge but when you try to dip a brush or blender into the little pack, it makes the application worse. 10/10 I will not be repurchasing. 2I love this foundation but...I love this Maybelline cushion foundation. It feels great and very smooth on my face and gives it a natural dewy glow. I do, however, find that it creases a lot in my oily T-zone areas, really in the creases my nose. I have combination skin, mostly drier with it being slightly oily around my nose crease, on my nose, and the chin. After about six hours, the oily parts of my face look oily and this is my only drawback. Most foundations do that with my skin unless they are extremely drying.4Great CoverageI have spent more money than I want to believe on foundation products, from clinic to wet n wild. A lot I like in the beginning but then I start seeing that it's not as great as I thought. Dream cushion doesn't give a lot of product but the application is super smooth and you can adjust the coverage. I have oily skin with large pores and eye wrinkles (the trifecta of crappy skin!) and it really brightens and conceals flaws.5Good light foundation!My skin has changed so much, I feel like I am always buying new foundation. I used to have very oily skin and needed to wear medium to fuller coverage. Now my skin is combo with more dry patches and I prefer a lighter foundation. I was weary about these cushion foundations, thinking they were a fad...but this foundation is very nice. I use a slightly dampened beauty blender and dab it in to the skin. I can double up on some of the places where I need more help to cover my redness. I then finish it off with a translucent pressed powder and it stays nicely for the day. I notice a little wear around my nose and chin where I do get oily, but otherwise, it stays pretty well.I did notice it oxidised on my skin a little bit. But not enough to be super noticeable.I have pretty sensitive skin and also had no reactions or breakouts.4Beautiful Sheer FinishI m reviewing Maybelline New York s Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation in porcelain. The product comes with a small sponge for a smooth application, separated from the product itself to prevent foundation from drying out. It has a sheer, dewy finish for when the wearer wants a more natural look. Despite its light consistency and finish, however, the foundation has great coverage properties so pores and discoloration are considerably less evident. Multiple applications are unnecessary because, if set, the product will remain adhered for the day. I do not advise people with oily skin to use this product, however, because due to its dewy finish and consistency, skin will need to be blotted at least once after application.5Great buyThis is my 1st cushion foundation, easy apply, good coverage (depend on how much you apply you could adjust coverage) but light feeling. I love it!- My skin: Sensitive, get burn, red, itchy or even hives easily when item included too much chemical. Cool tone, I use Classic ivory with Covergirl and Ivory 5 with Mary Kay foundation.- Pro: It's Buildable. Coverage will be Light, Medium, or Full covarage depend on how much you apply. When I apply few layer, brown spot fully covered. Easy apply, I can use this like stamp on the face, saving so much time. Gentle on skin, light feeling. Sometimes foundation is makes my skin itchy, burning, or create pimple, but this cushion foundation doesn't bother my skin.- Con: Small amount in container, it may be run out quicker than regular foundation (tube or pump). This is not water proof, if you sweat a lot, it may melt away. It need put setting spray when you do work out, or for summer time.- Other: I saw some youtube review that Loreal cushion foundation isn't buildable, that's why I chose this one. But perhaps will try Loreal cushion foundation too.5
