    Amazing Beauty Find: Flawless All Day Coverage and Perfect Skin Tone Match,at an Incredible PriceDream Velvet is the best foundation for my skin that I've found in years. It's far superior to products that cost multiples of the price of this supremely inexpensive and wonderful cosmetic. It has a unique consistency that creates a flawless appearance without looking like spackling compound on one's face - it fills in rough skin features like acne scars and large pores but sits on the skin lightly, not heavily. The wide range of tones means I found a perfect color match to my skin tine with the added benefit of perfect color correction of my often-ruddy skin. Lastly, the tube yields an amazing number of applications - partly because it takes only a tiny amount of product for perfect coverage but also because the package design allows one to extract every last little bit. I really cannot convey how impressed and pleased I am with this wonderful cosmetic. Thank you, Maybelline!. . .5PERFECT SHADESO GLAD I found this shade on Amazon, I can't find it in any drug store or Ulta store anywhere anymore!I do not use this foundation on my whole face, only on blemishes or redness spots that I have. I love it because it matches my skin tone perfectly which is why I love it, however, this foundation does not last long as coverage makeup. I have tried to use many different primers before applying this as well as many different powders layered on top, and it seems like no matter what, the foundation has come off within the hour (at the most.)BUT at this low price and the coverage I get on the different spots on my face (while it lasts), is worth it. -As long as you are ok with re-applying every time you go to the bathroom.4Why do they always discontinue the FANTASTIC makeup??? I have used every brand from Estee Lauder to Clinique to Lancome to whatever brand you can think of at the department store This is by far the very best foundation I have EVER used. It is better than the hundred dollar foundations I have paid for in the past. I can t believe they ve taken this off-the-shelf. It will not dry out your skin, it does give you full coverage, and I ve received tons of compliments on my skin. 5No good for dry or acne prone skinThis is the best color match I have ever had in a foundation. The mousse texture is so soft and feels great on your face. But that is about as far as it gets with positives. I have moderate acne, and when I get a pimple, it tends to dry around the edges. This makeup not only will not cover the redness, but it accentuates it. And it sticks to every little dry spot on my face. It clings and makes it look SO much worse and flaky. I am embarrassed about my breakouts as it is, and makeup is supposed to make you feel better. Wearing this is worse. I stopped putting on the foundation at all and just went out with my acne showing! And for me, that is a big deal!The coverage is just flat out horrible. I prime and moisturize with high end products, and I have tried to apply with a beauty blender, my fingers and a brush, and nothing helps.When I try to build for better coverage, this starts to streak and cake.I am not sure how it would work with oily skin, but if you have pimples or dry skin, I would not recommend.2Even coverage, Long lasting, Good priceHad been using this product and shade for a few years. This foundation evens out skin tone without caking up in the wrinkles around the eyes. Finding the right shade is key to keeping the coverage natural looking.I use Coconut Oil as a skin moisturizing base, then dab on this foundation. I don't cover my entire face; just the discolored parts. I chuckle a bit writing about the realities of getting older, but wanting to groom and look your best is not entirely about vanity. There is a good amount of product in the tube, so the price point is fair. Product comes out the tube a bit unven - you either get nothing or a clump that suddenly jets out, so you'll need to be intentional when you squeeze the tube.5I bought a tint too lightI love this foundation so much, I first found it at Walgreens by my house, but I had moved. So, I scanned the barcode and found it on here. It s very fluffy and creamy, it s not liquid. Just a little squeeze of it lasts on my whole face and I love it so much4It's just bad...I ordered shade porcelain ivory hoping it would be light enough for my fair skin. It was a bit too dark and looked very pink . it looks ok if I apply a very light layer with my fingers but when I build it up it starts to look cakey. I'm 46 and it did settle in my fine lines . I have normal skin and it looked dry on my skin. I used a setting spray and it helped but I'd say this foundation is best suited for younger skin.Update: I decreased my score from three stars to two. I tried using this foundation several more times ,with primer and seeking spray, but no matter what I tried I just didn't look my best with this foundation. It's just bad. I'd say the more I tried it out, the more I grew to hate it. I was under the impression this was a hydrating foundation but it's not. It has a whipped texture, light coverage and I couldn't build it up to medium. It seems to suck the life out of my skin the longer it's on. I still think this might be fine for young teens with normal to slightly oily skin that just want a tad of evening out. It's just not for maturing or dry skin. I paid $2.47 for this foundation and that was even too much. I also tried it on my 26 y.o. Niece (normal to dry ,even skin) and it clung to her dry patches like nothing I'd ever seen before. I tried it on my 70 y.o. Mother (normal , mature skin) and it sank into her fine lines and gave her skin a dry , older look. It really accentuates texture and uneven areas. This foundation reminds me a lot of the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation both in its whipped texture and the way it made my skin look.2Thank You Amazon! Not my exact match but apparently Maybelline has decided to quit making THE BEST foundation they've come up with SO, I've mixed this with medium BB Cream and that makes my color. Thanks Maybeline...NOT!5Hard to work with, not the best looking foundationThere's good and bad with this, but mostly, it's not working for me. It clings to any little bit of texture or dry patch I may have, and doesn't leave me with a smooth look. I also feel it settles into my pores somewhat. I look too makeup-ey when I am done. I have to work too hard to make my makeup look good with this. Today, I actually had to take my makeup off and start over, because I looked so bad. I have been trying it different ways, with and without primer, with different primers, and today the primer I tried it with just didn't work well with it at all. I just can't see having to work so hard to make a product look good. The good is that it doesn't oxidize on me, and the color worked out. I bought the lightest, 10 Porcelain, as some reviews mentioned it ran dark. I think that was good advice. It leaves my makeup brush looking super orange. Fortunately, my face doesn't look orange. But I am pretty sure that after a couple more attempts, I am going to throw this away, unless by some miracle I figure out a way to make it work.3Matte but hydrating! Fast make up to apply with handsI used to spend a full hour doing my make up everyday but now that I m a mom I do not have that type of time anymore but I still want to look good and glam. I can put some on my hands rub it around for 5 seconds and BAM! No more spending forever with beauty blender and wasting precious time. And it looks FLAWLESS with hand application. (Just wash your hands first) I love that it s moisturizing Matte. I love matte finish make up BUT I always would get really dried out from them and my skin would peel and hate me. Now with this make up I can look matte without my skin drying out. I do have to touch up maybe twice throughout the day with some powder just on my nose where I tend to get oily but other then that I look amazing. Wish they sold in stores but at least it s sold here. :)5I love this Soft coloring!! Perfect for me!!5
