It's not as yellow as it seems in photos.. this is a MUST in my opinion for olive & deeper complexions!! The texture is very similar to Jeffree star's & dose of colors' new highlighters. Very soft & creamy to the touch. As far as color, it's an affordable dupe to JS's king tut, bb bronze glow & a bit darker than mac's oh darling & geller's gilded honey.. And this fits the bill plus some. When ordering, I wasn't sure if the Rose Gold would be to dark for my fair skin(most brands in this shade is a bit dark) but it was actually PERFECT. It's an everyday appropriate shade that is sure to get you noticed. What makes this so gorgeous is that it isn't glittery and doesn't even have shimmer /sparkles in it. You can't go wrong. 5Great Product - Worst Makeup Packaging EverSo first of all, this product is wonderful and flattering. BUT the packaging is the worst that I have ever experienced. There is no dent in the plastic to open it - I just use my nails to loosen the lid and it's annoying every single time. When I first opened it out of the box, my fingers slid into the highlighter and I dented it badly and it was so frustrating. Second, I've owned it for about 5 months and the top has already popped off.... But it's still hard to open. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this. I surely can't be the only one experiencing this ridiculousness. I've started avoiding this product because it's too annoying to deal with. Maybelline - get your designers in here to give this highlighter the presentation it deserves! 3Rose gold looks beautiful on fair skinWow, this is a vibrant highlight. The rose color looks beautiful on my super fair skin but I have to use a VERY light hand when applying. It almost looks like a large pan of eyeshadow and can easily look like a stripe of eyeshadow across your cheeks . I'm 46 so I don't want to use too much and look silly. If you enjoy a bold highlight then this is for you. The quality is up there with high end. Will be my go to this summer! 5Awesome versatile highlighter for brown girls!I've been lead astray by YouTube "beauty gurus" before but I actually love this highlighter. I don't know my MAC shade (broke student problems) but I am a 108 caramel beige in the Loreal Pro Matte foundation, a w6 in Loreal True Match, and use the light to medium True Complexion contour palette from Black Radiance. The highlighter is subtle enough for daytime wear in an office but can be built up for more pigmentation. My skin-tone is in the medium range with yellow undertones and this looks natural enough to give me a glow without being too over-the-top. The glitter is fine and not chunky, like some other highlighters I've tried. It's not super gold, it's more of a neutral brownish-champagne as it doesn't have a lot of yellow in it. But again, it works well. I also have textured skin from hormonal acne, and with a light hand it applies well and doesn't bring attention to any bumps. Also, it's pretty big, so you get a lot of product. For anyone on a budget, this is a must-have. 5
