    Pregnant? Buy this! During my pregnancy, my midwife gave me a sample of this to try as it was their recommendation. I ended up loving it and, although there really were other options available locally, I chose to order this product. It has a pleasant and non-overpowering smell. I generally applied it everyday after a shower and let it soak in for a bit before getting dressed (I was always nervous about getting oily marks on my clothes but that never happened). Thankfully, I did not get a single stretch mark. I'll definitely be using this again. The only other product I used was Bio Oil (I believe that's the name) but it failed in comparison to this. 5Stinky and greasy I bought this product based on the positive reviews. I have just started using it therefore I can't say if it works or not however I can say that this product does not have a good smell. It claims to have a cocoa butter scent (a lot of ppl do not like this scent but I've used cocoa butter oils, butters, and lotions my whole life and love it) however what i have definitely does NOT smell anything close to cocoa butter. It smells bitter... almost like vinegar.... the consistency is also very greasy. I use other oils for marks and they absorb quickly and dry. This oil is thick (which i like) but does not absorb as quickly and remains quite greasy for a while. I use oils twice a day (am and pm) and i can not use this oil in the am because i can't get dressed immediately afterwards due to the greasiness. Best to be used after shower before bed. I will definitely use this product however I will not be purchasing again. I will probably try adding some pregnancy safe EO to help with the smell. 2Great buy!While it's mostly genetics that determines stretch marks, especially during pregnancy, I definitely used this oil a lot and feel it kept my skin healthy and looking its best. I applied twice a day, mixing it with lotion. Another perk is that it has a non-offending smell, an issue for many during pregnancy.4Great for garden-variety pregnancy rashes! Though this is marketed as a "skin toning oil," I hope it is useful to mention one of the unexpected virtues of this magical blend: treating (curing?) my prenatal eczema. For months, I had a very itchy rash that my midwives thought might be eczema or PUPPS, and I tried a variety of lotions and potions to no avail. I'm a big fan of Mountain Ocean's Skin Trip, and when I found out they had a line specially formulated for mamas, I thought it was worth a try. I started using this oil around 26 weeks, and within 3 weeks of using it after showering in the morning and before bed, the rash was completely gone (and at 37 weeks, it still has not returned). I'll call that a "win."As far as stretch mark management is concerned in my experience, this oil merely forestalled the inevitable. Like most people with skin, I am "genetically predisposed" to stretch marks. However, I was convinced this oil was allaying all of my known and potential skin issues, and I may have bragged as much. After 34 1/2 weeks without a single mark, I woke up covered in stretch marks. I think the Greeks call that "hubris."Other notes: sure, it smells kind of weird, if you are used to heavily-perfumed health and beauty products. This one smells like unprocessed nut oils and cocoa butter. Also, do not slather it on and then assume it will not stain your clothes. You do need to wait a while to let it absorb into your skin. Also, don't wear it in conjunction with silk that way lies ruined shirts and dresses, believe me. 5I love love thisI love love this!Tip: I got a small spray bottle so I had it when i had an itch on my belly. My mom told me if there's an itch on the belly that means the skin is stretching! i would spray extra oil when I feel an itch and slowly rubbed it in. I never rubbed my stomach when I was pregnant. I also start with this oil right when I found out I was pregnant! PREP Your skin ladies! Prep the skin right away. I was so excited I didnt get any stretch marks... both my sisters got stretch marks for not using any oil!I used this religiously when I wake up and right out of the shower.5Absolutely not a single stretch mark after using every day Love this oil, it was the only moisturizer I used on my skin during pregnancy. I gained about 50 lbs during my pregnancy and don't have a single stretch mark right now. I applied the oil religiously after showering on my belly, thighs and butt, sometimes twice a day but the results showed. My skin is same as it was before, smooth! I took the before and after photo.I have purchased this oil even after the pregnancy as I love how it moisturizes my skin. I have also used on my face without any problems and sometimes take with me to massages. I would buy for any expecting mother. Plus it's all natural with minimal ingredients. Can't say enough good things about it! 5I LOVE this stuff I LOVE this stuff! It's the 4th stretch mark product I have bought in my pregnancy and so far this is my favorite. I have tried palmer's cocoa butter, palmer's tummy butter, this, and plain coconut oil. This stuff smells good (almost like a light chocolate smell) and my skin feels so hydrated. I can't say whether it helps with stretch marks yet, we will see. But I will be using this for the remainder of my pregnancy for sure. 5I love this oilI love this oil. I used it religiously throughout my pregnancy as soon as I found out I wad pregnant. I rubbed it all over right after my showers when my skin was still slightly damp as that really helps lock in the moisture. I love the way it feels and also grew to like it's slightly nutty smell. I was concerned the oil would stain clothes or sheets, but it never did. Most importantly, I didn't get a single stretch mark on my skin. I'm unsure whether it's because I didn't gain much, genetics, this oil, or a mix of all these factors, but either way, I recommend this product to other pregnant friends.5Get it! This oil soaks into my skin SO MUCH BETTER than other oils I have used! I purchased over 10 different oils and lotions to prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy. They have all kept my skin feeling oily and would get onto my clothes/sheets. This oil, however, has felt like it soaks in the most, instead of just staying on the outer layer of my skin. It has a thicker consistency than most oils that are sold for skin elasticity. Also, the smell is amazing! Highly recommmend :) 5It truly is the best thing that I've ever put on my skin i used this product while I was pregnant and now I will always use it. A very little goes a long way and it has done wonders to keep my skin moisturized and healthy. Because this products is 100% natural/no preservatives my pores do not clog up and breakout. It truly is the best thing that I've ever put on my skin. I got to keep my "glow" after my baby was born too! 5Love this oil **Update** I am currently 9 months pregnant with not one stretch mark. I ve still been using this oil every morning and night! Honestly not sure if it s good luck/genetics LOL or if it s the oil... either way I m happy and love this product!!! Will update further along in my pregnancy. 5It works when used 2x a day!!! I went through 5 or 6 bottles of this during my entire pregnancy since I was so scared of getting stretch marks. My mom has bad scarring & loose skin from her pregnancies so I always thought I was genetically predisposed to get them, too. Here s a photo of me 4 weeks postpartum- just 1 tiny 1 purple stretchmark you can barely see! Im still using this twice a day to hopefully tone my skin more before I start working out again. The only con would be that it s oil, so it will leave stains when you put on a lighter shirt. I'm 37 weeks and still no stretch marks! I've combined with bio oil, mama bees oil, and palmers lotion- maybe it's overboard? But I sneeze and get stretch marks... and so far none! So I guess it's working! Yay!5Stopped the Stretchmarks!!I started using Palmers cocoa butter lltion when my husband and I were trying. Not long after we were pregnant! By 10 weeks I had stretch marks!! My mother never got any so I thought genetics would help me out. A beauty blogger/mom swears by this stuff so I tried it out. I am now in my 3rd trimester, much bigger than I was at 10 weeks and haven't gotten ANY stretch marks since switching at that 10 wk mark! The sstretchie I did get have improved too! And I'm 29 weeks preggo now. Not one stretch mark. I have an old one from weight gain a few years back. I have an old naval piercing. But no purple stretch marks.
