Smooth Application and Does not Smear This works well for my upper lid line application, easy to apply and does not smear but of course will smear if rubbed. Is somewhat waterproof and usually lasts me my entire work shift of 10 hours (sometimes more). Easy to remove with make-up remover. I like to use black and it is true to its color, not too faded like some other eyeliners. I do not use the smudge & pull-out sharpener but I know that it is an option if I wanted to try some different effects. I've been applying the upper lid line for years so I've gotten pretty good at achieving the desired look. By no means am I professional, but I know how I like to wear it. I liked this so much that i subscribed through Amazon for every 3 months. So far it lasts me little over 3 months with nearly everyday use. 4It fell apart I've never used Revlon for makeup, but this one time has probably turned me off forever. The eyeliner totally fell apart in pieces every time it touched my eyelid, like the product was years old and they had shipped it to me from the very back corner of a warehouse. Bummed.I know a lot of people like this product, but Revlon didn't offer me any kind of compensation other than a coupon that had to be used on their website (couldn't be used at a CVS or Walgreens). To me, it wasn't even worth the risk of ordering again. 1Usually have loved this product but what I received a few weeks ago I was very dissapointed with. This product has been my favorite for many years. I believe 6. I was so dissapointed with my last order. The eyeliner was breaking all the way down as I attempted to apply it and it barely was able to use any before it broke completely and I had to throw away. Really a bummer. Not sure why this happened since I ve loved it throughout the years. 1The one with the smudger is the WORST because the sharpener doesn't work and pieces of the ... Amazon needs to update this product presentation because it is false advertising. I ordered these (as pictured and described on the site), but what I got was the awful substitute that has the smudger attached. The one with the smudger is the WORST because the sharpener doesn't work and pieces of the "crayon" break off inside of it every single time, thus sending me into a fitful rage as I'm rushing to get ready in the mornings. Also, the swivel doesn't lock so when you're using it, it keeps swiveling and extending. So annoying!!!!! I hear that the original (the one advertised) was discontinued, so AMAZON--please update your site to reflect this! 1My absolute favorite eyeliner ever My absolute favorite eyeliner ever. It's really all I use! I buy if off Amazon now because in my state the drug stores jacked up the price.It's straight, solid black and lasts almost all day before any noticeable fading occurs. Plus it's easy to apply, you just have to get used to the amount of pressure you use, since the tip can break with too much. THE ONLY THING IS that this is a waterproof eyeliner, so you need makeup pads that specifically remove waterproof products. (I've used Neutrogena and Olay brand pads, both work fine, it's whatever is cheaper or preferable.) 5I have purchased expensive eyeliners that are not as good as this I have purchased expensive eyeliners that are not as good as this. In the last few years, I only buy this particular eyeliner. It might sound strange, but I use it for my eye brows as well because it doesn't smudge easily and the color is perfect. I highly recommend this product to try out. 5Product is not up to par these days. This pencil is waaaay too soft. The tip breaks off every single time and it's completely a waste of money. I have been buying this liner for over 8 years and it never had this much of a problem. It's been a horrible product for the last year in my opinion. It lasted 2 days this last time I purchased it. The tip broke off with the slightest touch *and I mean feather-like touch. Plus, it use to be very smudge proof and repelled moisture but not anymore. Garbage. I'll never use this product again. 1Good control for dramatic drawing, stays on all day. Somewhat bright blue. I was expecting sapphire to be a less bright blue, but it is a really pretty color. This would be sensational for someone with deep blue eyes, not very subtle for brown. It's so easy to apply that it's also easy to go overboard drawing with it. Good control. Don't be clumsy like me and put too much on or get it on your clothes, it really is long lasting :) It didn't run while I was reading a tragic romance, nor did it smear when I had allergies.As I said, this is a really pretty color and an easy to use product. I'm going to order it in a brown shade and hope they come out with a midnight blue. 4Old, expired product? I've ordered this from amazon a few times with mixed results. One time, the product came in good condition... The other times, I noticed that the tip of the pencil breaks off pretty easily. No big deal, I'd just sharpen it a little with the built in sharpener and I was good to go! The most recent time that I ordered from here was pretty awful. The pencil was HARD and broke VERY easily. Instead of having a creamy consistency, the outer layers crumbled off and the middle was so hard that I thought there was a metal rod inside. On top of that, there was a STRONG, foul odor coming from the pencil... which signals to me that this pencil expired long ago. I was in dire need of an eyeliner, so I used it, but it irritated my eyes. (Obviously not a good idea to use expired makeup.)The pencil should be great (as I've used this brand before), but you're better off buying this from your local drugstore... 3Smudged way too easily. I almost think they sent me the wrong product -- or that there was a "batch error" because my eyeliner left me with racoon eye -- just from blinking. I was looking for a non-smudge eyeliner, but after wearing this four times -- I threw it in the trash. I read it could be the fault of my under-eye moisturizer, but a product that bills itself as having stay power, should be compatible with standard moisturizers.Not for me. 1
