    Like the colorLike the color. It was exactly what I was expecting. But the tube is broken so the balm end wouldn't open, but instead just pulled out of the tube so the color stain went flying across my bathroom counter leaving lip stain all over. When I finally got the balm open it was broken off at the base. I have used this product before and never had this problem. Very disappointing!2Might stick to getting this from CVS or Target...The tube I received was a bit on the dry side. Don't know if it was in their stock too long or what. I had to press/rub REALLY hard for the stain to be released. I have 2 other different color tubes & don't have this issue with the other ones, the bled out nicely. Whatever stain did come out I had to apply over & over not to mention the color came out an orange color & didn't match the red color of the tube itself. Oh, & it wiped off pretty easily even after allowing appropriate time to dry. I'm not knocking the Just Bitten brand at all b/c like I said, I had great experience from the 2 other colors I got from CVS, I'm just knocking THIS particular tube in the flame color I got from Amazon. Waste of money & a bummer. .2but even worse it is counterfeit or tempered withItem arrived opened, which is gross in and of itself, but even worse it is counterfeit or tempered with. The item was shrink wrapped but the wrapping had been removed around the cap and taped over with a 3rd party barcode sticker. When I opened it the top was a weird light color and when applied to paper and my hand came out neon yellow/orange. This is not an item that was just opened and/or old. I have old versions of this lipstain and it doesnt age like this.This item is counterfeit or has been tempered with.1Not the firy red I wanted but still a good stain; ad hoc hydration is critical thoughI got the color "flame" thinking it would be the fire engine red stain I have been looking for. It turned out to be a red with a plum-ish pink tinge to it. So I knocked off one star for that little disappointment. Though not the color I was looking for, it looked pretty cool on my lips so I kept it. Another complain would be the fact that the stain can't survive (either it or your lip will start to dry and even crack) without some kind of balm applied on top of it every half an hour. That's another star taken off. If you were a lip balm addict looking for a highly pigmented stain, this product would be a good choice.3Revlon lipstain and balm (Beloved) I purchased in color "beloved" and although the color is beautiful this is a terrible lipstain. It almost seems as it arrived already dried out as each application from the tip gets drier and drier! The balm is nourishing but breaks almost immediately perhaps it would work better with a swivel feature like most lip balm's but because it is narrow as soon as you apply the lip balm it breaks. I wore this lipstain for only 10 minutes when I felt it fading on my lips untill my lips were bare. I do not have dry lips as I use a lip balm daily and did not drink or eat while wearing this lipstain like I said after only 10 minutes of wearing it dissapeared. I will continue searching for a more durable lipstain but will never buy from this brand again. 2Best lip stain/marker for meSo mad when they stopped selling these at Walmart, I thought they stopped making them. This is the only colored lip product I ve ever been happy with! I ve tried other stains and they look messy to me, or feel sticky and gummy. It does dry out your lips so chapstick should be used after the marker has time to set (3-5 minutes). The Vaseline lip moisturizer pairs the best imo.5Great...in theoryBought two and had the same problem with both. Great color & the moisturizer is a great idea except you can t get to it without breaking it or releasing the color sticks out the back/bottom and splattering red stain all over. The bottom tip cover is poorly constructed and the moisturizer doesn t recede into the tube so if you actually manage to open that end without releasing the color sticks inside (which are supposed to be sealed inside) you will end up breaking the moisturizer off its base. Lame.1Great Color & Long Lasting CoverageI love the Just Bitten Lipstains. Since these are no longer sold in stores, I have been ordering them online and I'm just happy I am able to do that. I honestly have no clue why more people don't use lipstains. The wear is usually incredibly long lasting and it accentuates and lines your lips in the most natural way. I ordered the color Frenzy and it is a beautiful, well tinted shade.5Bummer.Maybe the one I received was old or expired, but barely any color comes out when I apply it. It seems dried up. Also, the balm broke off at the base the first time I went to apply it, so it is useless. I would like to try it again, but wouldn't pay another $7.20 to see if I just got a dud or if they're all like this. Bummer.1The stain is awesome, the balm is uselessI've been seeing the ads for this stain for at least a month, and every time I was in Target I looked for it. Finally I found it!I've been a fan of stains for years and thankfully now they're becoming popular, so it's easy to find one that works for you. I've tried Sephora Brand, Urban Decay, Tarte Beauty Queen, and Covergirl. Since stains now come in drugstore brands, I'll definitely be trying whatever is released. My favorite for awhile was the Urban Decay and Tarte, but the Covergirl was comparable, so I got that in a few colors. I don't know if I used all the product in it or if they just dried up, but I've been struggling to get anything out of my covergirl markers for a few weeks now. Otherwise, I was happy with them.I picked up this Just Bitten Stain in the color Crave and it's BRIGHT. But I love it. I'm fair with freckled skin and green eyes, and the bright pinks tend to make my eyes look brighter, and overall just perk up my appearance. I can throw JUST stain on and run out the door and not feel makeup naked. You need less product to get the desired look, which is good, but if you want it bold, you can achieve that as well. This is actually a welcome problem to have, as I've been going my lips over and over with the Covergirl trying to get enough out of it. I found just dotting it on and quickly smudging my lips together gets this stain the way I like it. It's got great staying power too.The reason for a one star deduction is what is up with the balm? It's sticking so far out of the container that when I went to apply it, it just snapped right off. Perfect, broken balm, just what I wanted. What I did get one my lips felt nice, but now I don't know that I'll be using it much. This is going to happen to just about anyone, anywhere, during the summer months. I understand the challenge of not making it a twist container since it's a double ended marker, but there has to be a better solution.4Has its flaws. I love the color (Gothic) and it does last a long time, but all of the balm sticks out - there's no mechanism to control how much of it you want to stick out - and it broke the second time I used it. Also, I have to be careful when I take off the lid that covers the balm because it can take the lipbalm with it and the cartridge(?) that holds the stain falls out... It has happened a few times.I used to have to apply the lipbalm very often or else I look like I just drank a red slushy or ate a red lollipop, so now I use another lipbalm that lasts longer or a clear gloss.The color IS great, though. 3Hard pass.This lip stain really isn t worth the $. The stain is drying(normal) but the moisturizing balm on the opposite end is difficult to get to. The lid is really stuck on there. When you get the cap off the whole thing breaks apart. When using the balm it doesn t last very long and you end up with lips that feel and look winter chapped.2BrightI bought Passion and Flame. I tried passion to see what it looked like, it was BRIGHT!! It looked like a darker hot pink on my lips, kinda fuschia. I got comments all day about my bright lips, most were bad. I tried it a few more times with different glosses and eye shadow looks, and still it looked awful.I bought flame in hopes of it being slightly orange, which is a color that looks good with my skin color and hair. Nope. It was not even a red, it was a hot pink, a little darker than passion. But I was persistant and tried to make it work again. Once again the bad comments. In fact my friend had a little intervention to tell me I had to stop wearing these colors.These negatives could be because I have pale, nearly white skin. My lips are already very pigmented so my natural color may have brightened the color. The stain lasted for the entire day and never wore off even when I ate and drank and scrubbed it. It did dry my lips but the balm helped right away, not just the balm that comes with it, any balm will do.Overall I will not be buying it again but others might enjoy these colors.Update: I got Lust and I have to say it is a lovely color. Its sort of a brown-purple color, excellent for some occasions. I really enjoyed this color and I imagine people with darker skin tones or lips this color would look great. Totally recommend!2
