FlawlessBEST GLITTER SHADOWS ON THE MARKET! i have five colors and all are gorgeous. Surprisingly blendable for a liquid and minimal fallout of the glitter, almost none. The formula is great and. You don't have to worry about ba glitter primer. Stays all day.5Not as opaque as the photos show. Very sheer, but pretty. Stays on well as long as you let it dry well.The picture made this eye shadow look like a very opaque iridescent white color with very subtle sparkle in it. In reality, you'd have to apply several coats (and wait 10 minutes in between each until each coat was super dry) to get that look. With just a regular application it's almost a sheer see-through white with lots of tiny iridescent sparkles in it. I wouldn't say the sparkles are like dust that goes flying all over the place, but you do end up with a stray sparkles here and there on other parts of your face, which kinds bugs me. I wish the base color that the sparkles are put into was thicker and denser, so that it really coated the whole lid in the gorgeous pearlescent white color that the photo shows. I ended up putting on a thick coat and then applying some opaque iridescent white powder eye-shadow over it while it was still wet, which kind of softened the totally glitter sparkle affect (which was more "bling" than I wanted anyway) and it made the overall look seem more pearly white this way, than just using the Stilla product alone. Once I did that I liked the look of it and it did stay on for 8 hours (but you do have to wait like 10 minutes to really let this dry well before you start applying the rest of your eye-makeup.4if you want sparkly eyes, don't hesitate, buy this now.I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS STUFF. I bought kitten karma and then i went back and bought diamond dust and golden goddess. GREAT glitter payout with little to no fallout if you do it correctly (apply it after the rest of your eyeshadow), and you don't have to worry about the mess of glitter glue and messy loose glitter. I have accidentally slept in this overnight, twice, and was able to rock the glitter eyeshadow to work the next day with no touchups. And I didn't even use an eyeshadow primer either time, although I did use Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. Give this a go if you are looking for sparkly eyeshadow. The colors are a little different, btw. Some of the colors, like kitten karma, have a colored base with glitter, but some of them, like diamond dust and golden goddess, have a clear base with colored glitter. Maybe go to Sephora or Ulta and use the testers on the back of your hand before you purchase on Amazon for the cheaper price.5SHINY!I initially bought this for myself but ended up surrendering it to my niece because she's a far bigger fan of glittery makeup than I am.This applies very easily for glitter makeup - you don't have to press hard to get it to stick, for example. It also lasts fairly long, although admittedly I didn't really wear it for more than a couple of hours at a time. I did find glitter on my face for far longer than a couple of hours after removing my makeup, so be prepared to be thorough when you do your skin cleansing. Essentially, this will last a long time on your face so you don't have to continually reapply like you would some other eye shadows.Now when it comes to irritation, this will depend greatly on the individual. This was fine for me, although I suppose that this will greatly depend on how well your skin reacts to glitter. I highly, highly recommend that if you're interested in this and you have the ability to do so, that you go to a local store like Ulta and test this out on your skin first. This will be going around your eyes, after all.As to how it looks, this looks amazing on. It's shiny and beautiful and yet, depending on how you apply it, can be incredibly subtle and provide a little highlight to otherwise normal makeup. It can also provide an incredibly glamorous and dramatic look as well - it's all in how you use it.4Perfect for a hooded-eye!I bought this originally because of the "hype". Now I realize why it was so hyped! This product is amazing. It does not move once you put it on. This is great for those with hooded eyes, where your crease is closer to your lash line. I have a semi-hooded eye and sometimes my eye shadow will move around the crease. This product does not do that. Make sure you let it dry before you open your eye, or it will crease. I bought this because I'm am doing my friends makeup for her wedding. She has an extremely hooded-eye. She wanted just a little sparkle. This is perfect. Of course, if you don't have a hooded-eye you have no idea what I'm talking about. This will work just as well on you as it does those with hooded-eyes.5My Absolute Favorite Glitter Shadow!! I received my first Stila Magnificent Metals eyeshadow in a Birchbox subscription box. I knew right away that I had to buy more full size and this is the third one I've added to my collection since. I just love the color of this one. It is easy to apply with no glitter glue needed. There's no fall out when applied and it stays in place until I remove it at the end of the night. The only thing I would recommend is to be sure to let the shadow dry before you open your eyes especially for someone like me with hooded eyelids. Love, love, love and can't wait to complete my collection with every color available at some point in the future! 5Its shinnyI like how pigmented it isI will update if it doesn't last all night5Brilliant Blue/Purple Color Shift Into the Blue is a gorgeous color-shifting liquid glitter eyeshadow. It can be a little streaky and not as even and easy to apply as some of the other colors. But once it's on your lids, the glitter looks brilliant; it's a vivid blue color one instant and a dark pinkish purple the next. The more layers you apply, the more likely you'll have some extra glitter fallout later. But overall, as far as glitter eyeshadows go, this stays on your lids pretty well for several hours. It's an alluring, beautiful color.4 Long Lasting Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows Stila's Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow line is really nice and I like their Shimmer & Glow line just as much (maybe more). The bright glitter and reflective pearls create a pretty, feminine look that helps brighten up your eyes. The lightweight, water-based formula is super easy and quick to apply and just as easy to wash off with soap and water.The wand makes the eyeshadow extremely easy to apply without too many mistakes, and once it's on, it stays for many hours. There is minimal glitter fallout; it's absolutely the least fallout I've ever seen in any eye glitter product. However, it also depends on how many layers you apply. The more sheer you go, the less fallout you'll have. The adhesive holding everything in place is impressive.Because the main ingredient is water, this eyeshadow goes on very light, cold and wet. It doesn't take too long to dry. I usually look downwards for about 10-20 seconds (to avoid creasing), but I can walk around doing other things without worrying about the liquid shifting out of place.Stila's products tend to work well together. I like to use their micro-tip or regular tip liquid eyeliner first. Then I carefully use the thin side of this wand to apply the shadow above the black line, before using the flat side to fill in a bit more. Then I either use my fingertip to tap and blend into a nice oval shape or just let the wand do the work. The glitter shadows aren't always the best to blend with your finger- the glitter can appear uneven. Then I remove any extra glitter with a pointed Q-tip.This technique works the best because you don't want to overlap your eyeliner with the glitter eyeshadow, which can happen easily. Overlap makes your line look crooked in areas, due to the light reflection, so be aware of that.ROSE GOLD RETRO is a bright, glittery, pink-rose gold color that looks very attractive, particularly if you have darker skin. I wore this during an active 12-hour SNL shoot. By the end of my 18 hour day, I had glitter flecks all over my face. But for at least 10 hours I was fine, with minimal glitter fallout.ENCHANTRESS is a very pretty, long-lasting shimmery eye shadow with a bright iridescent finish. It's pinkish or coral in color, with tiny flecks of hot magenta and light green mica. They glitter beautifully in the light and the shiny base color provides enough hue so that you don't need to use a seperate eyeshadow.INTO THE BLUE is a gorgeous, duo-chrome, iridescent, glam glitter liquid eyeshadow. It's a vivid cobalt blue color with a bold purple color shift. It seems streakier than the other colors and I realized that you definitely cannot blend this one with your finger. You have to carefully apply it with the wand. There is some glitter fallout, moreso than other colors. To be fair, I applied a couple more layers than I usually do with the other liquid shadows. It's hard to get it on perfectly without practice. Once the eyeshadow is on, it looks beautiful with its wet, slick, metallic, blue-purple sheen. It's awesome for wearing out at night, to dinner, at parties, etc.KITTEN KARMA has a subtle pinkish hue with a ton of silver and mostly gold/copper glitter that works well with any skin tone. This one has a LOT of glitter, moreso than the other shadows. I tend to like the ones that actually show a bit of color more than just tons of glitter.(Kitten (not Kitten Karma) is the Shimmer & Glow eyeshadow, the version without the glitter. The color is very subtle, sightly pink, great for daytime wear.)SMOKY STORM: It's a bit streaky and I don't love the color. The glitter is silver and copper and the base has a light bronzish hue.The Diamond Dust and Gold Goddess glitters are pretty self explanatory. They don't produce any color shifts but are simply silver or gold glitter. Best applied over colorful eyeshadows.5Love it...but not for oldies like me...I tried it on...& almost had the gravitasse to wear it out of my home....but, frankly...(and thankfully)...I know where to quit. Instead, I regally handed this to my 30 year old daughter & went and cried in the dark, with a box of bonbons. The baton has changed hands. It was a really good run though.5AmazingBelieve what you read, best glitter eyeshadow on the market. Very pretty and awesome for a night out or a date. Remember to do your under eye makeup first or you will get glitter all over your face (if you use a brush to blend, otherwise it doesn't flake), I forget every time!5
