    Love itLove the gradual and natural color it gives. I am hispanic and am naturally tan but in the winter my legs get pale, this worked great to even out my color. The ONLY thing I didn't really like was it being a little tacky after application but it does say to allow it to dry, once dry it was fine but washing it off my hands was a little bit of a pain because of the stickyness. I would still purchase again, great product.4Quick results!I've tried a few brands over the years and I have never had these kind of results. I exfoliated then applied regular lotion in spots others had recommended (ankles, knees, wrist, etc) to prevent them from overly absorbing. I applied all over let it dry and went to sleep. In the morning I rinsed of in the shower with a wash cloth and soap no scrubbing. The glitter that others talked about came right off. I was left with beautifully radiant tanned skin after just one use. I got multiple compliments throuought the day on how nice and tan I looked. I only had one area that had a streak and that was result of error on my part (mostly poor lighting). The level of tan I achieved after one use is probably as tan as I would normally desire. However with a beach vacation only 10 days away I'm going to reapply a few times for a darker tan for vacation. I'm hoping to correct my one streak when I reapply tonight. Heade others warnings to wear gloves. I thought if I was quick enough it wouldn't stain my palms. I was wrong. Also don't freak out if it looks a little orange before you rinse off. It results in a beautiful bronze tan.5Great self tanner!The best I found for THAT SORT OF TAN (with SPARKLE the day of application )- with IMMEDIATE result. (for lighter and durable color, no sparkle I like "L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion, Medium Natural Tan " - which needs a few hours to "kick in").In self tanning there is the product lasting "one-day only" and THIS one: lasts days (don't go swimming same day though!)BOTH "L'oreal" tanning lotions smell NICE, too.BTW - "strike free" DEPENDS always on the personal application methods.. only that this one is applicable by HAND offering more control then "spray" in my personal experience.5I think it's greatI love this stuff. I bought it to use to fill spots that never will tan on me (I don't want to be in the sun enough to age faster, either.) Since using it, no one has asked me if it's a fake tan (could also help that I had some sun to start with; it blended in well with it.) Smells great, and the glitter lets me know where I've applied it, if nothing else.5Works great, does stain clothes thoughI work outside all year and develop a pretty dark tan above the waist while rarely exposing my legs to the sun. After 10 days of use, I've already nearly matched the color of my legs to my arms/torso. It does an awesome job adding a natural looking color to your skin, but it definitely also stains clothes. I allow 5-10 minutes to dry before putting on clothes and still have a brownish-orange color in the waistband of my boxers. While it's not enough to take away from the product for me, others may not be so excited about ruining their underwear.5I've used this for years with untold numbers of compliments ...I've used this for years with untold numbers of compliments...go to Costco or your local pharmacy and purchase a box of latex gloves to make application easier and not have it soak into your palms...also, it helps to "sop up" the excess with a paper towel, especially on feet, knees and elbows. The moisturizing feature in their products has keep my forehead and face basically wrinkle-free. It is sticky-- every time I crossed my legs they'd stick together. On top of that, there is this glitter in it and it looks ridiculous especially in the sun. Yuck. I do still put it on with my original face lotion and body lotion, it makes it last longer in my opinion. I have been using it for about 3 years and in my opinion it is the best bang for your buck. I also use it in the summer and only have to use it about twice a week to keep the glow.5Has a slight shimmerI am relatively fair skinned, so when I opened the container and saw the color, I was a bit concerned. It is a dark amber colored gel. I ended up rubbing a small bit into my thigh to see how it would go on. It was surprisingly transparent... but, there is a slight bit of shimmer effect in it... like cosmetic glitter that I have seen in foundation or face makeup. I honestly liked this more than I expected. I jumped in with both feet (literally) and smoothed it on both of my legs and it instantly dulled the blinding winter white shade that my legs had acquired without being an obvious self-tanner.Fast forward about 10 hours or so... I noticed the color had taken hold and deepened slightly. Again, not a bad color... it looked like I had been in the sun and picked up my natural tan. However, as an inexperienced self tanner, I did notice that I had a couple of problem areas that stuck out. The edge of my feet for one... I would refer to this mostly as user error. The other thing I noticed after not applying the 2nd day - I had a lighter spot on the back of my right leg... where I cross my legs right over left in a dress. It looks like the crossing had rubbed some of this off the back of that leg and probably transferred to the other... which would have happened probably after 3 hours of it drying unmolested.I know smell seems to be a big deal on self tanners, so I will say that the scent going on was pleasant. However, as I have noticed with most of these, the longer you wear it, there is a chemical under note that comes out. By the time the evening came on, it smelled like any other self tanner I had experienced... which is easily solvable with a shower.4A nice subtle sunless tannerI've used this product for a number of years and generally really like it. I've found that the application method is the most important part of getting the most out of the lotion. For starters, don't do it before bed. Your legs rubbing together (through pjs or not) will cause splotchiness. I generally use this product when I have some extra time in the morning. I shower first, exfoliate, and make sure I'm completely dried off before application. Use a generous amount to get a more even application. Wash your hands very thoroughly. I will do this first thing out of the shower and then go through the rest of my morning routine (brushing my teeth, styling my hair, putting on make up etc.) naked as this dries. Then I put my pjs back on or other very loose clothing. I'll eat breakfast and whatever else I need to do that morning and save getting dressed for very last. This gives the product as much time as possible to dry without being interfered with by tight seems. My biggest complaint with this product is the sparkles, they're only noticeable under direct light or sunlight but they're pretty tacky looking in my opinion. I've found that I can rid myself of them pretty easily by putting on a regular lotion an hour or so after application. This also helps blend and smooth out the tanner and improve the appearance of the skin. I usually try to apply two days in a row and that lasts about 3 days before starting to rub off. One bottle will typically last me about 8 whole body applications or longer if I'm only using it on my legs. I'm very fair and this product looks fairly natural. Not as pink as my actual skin tone but I sort of like that. I certainly wouldn't say it makes me look orange! Overall I would definitely recommend this for someone trying to get some subtle color without subjecting themselves to skin damage. If the desired look is a drastic skin tone change then I would look elsewhere!4Buy at the store not Amazon This is my problem with Amazon, the products they sell don t seem to be the same as what you buy in a brick and mortar store. The bottle looks the same, but what s inside tends to be of lower quality. I love this product & have been using it for years, but this recent purchase from Amazon was disappointing. The lotion is very sticky and doesn t go on smoothly like it does from other sellers. Also, the bottle cap is defective and difficult to open, I cut both thumbs just trying to open the flip top cap. 2
